A few dozen seconds of smoke, photos for a lifetime.
Leaving the church or registry office. Guests line up with smoke bombs and you walk through a coloured tunnel. It is a moment the photographer captures in a series and guests film on their phones.
Outdoor session on the wedding day. In a meadow, in a forest or at sunset, the smoke adds depth and colour. It works best with a gentle breeze and soft light.

Lastly we had Jano, he was absolutely amazing on the saxophone, bringing the energy and the vibes. The way he delivered the Infinity song was just absolutely amazing and a memory we will have for the rest of our lives. Our little surprise to our guests and it went absolutely amazing!

Wedding smoke bombs - frequently asked questions
How much do wedding smoke bombs cost?+
The price depends on the number of smoke bombs, the colours and whether the smoke is only for the photo session or also for guests as you leave the church. In a package with a Matt Remay Group DJ it costs less than separate bookings. Send us the date and venue of your wedding and we will send you a quote.
Can smoke bombs be used at a church?+
Yes, but only outside, after the ceremony and with the permission of the parish or registry office. Before the wedding, ask the priest or registrar where guests can stand with the smoke.
Can coloured smoke stain the dress?+
At very close range the smoke can leave a mark on light fabrics. That is why the smoke bomb is held at arm's length, away from the dress, and lit with the wind. Before lighting, we show guests how to do it.
How long does one smoke bomb last?+
Usually from a few dozen seconds to about a minute, depending on the model. That is enough for the photographer to take a series of photos, so it is worth agreeing in advance exactly when to set off the smoke.
What smoke colours can we choose?+
The most popular are white, powder pink, gold, blue, purple and mint green. We match the colours to the decorations, bridesmaids' dresses and bouquet.
What if it rains or is very windy on the wedding day?+
Smoke looks best in a light breeze. In heavy rain or strong wind we move the lighting to another moment of the day, for example to an outdoor session on another date.
