QUOTATIONQUESTIONS FROM NEW COUPLES - answered by Matt Remay - Mateusz - CEO
- What is your experience working at weddings? How long have you been an active DJ/host/emcee?
We have been operating on the music market for 15 years. During this time, we have already visited various regions of Poland and Europe - yes, many of the events we organize are international weddings! In total, we have already performed several hundred dance events, including weddings, company integrations, anniversaries, birthdays, etc.
- Do you have testimonials or reviews from clients you have worked with?
Of course! Feedback from customers is very important to us - a lot of it can be found in the REFERENCES tab on our website.
- Do you collaborate with other bands or artists? If so, what does it look like?
During our activity, we had the pleasure of performing with various famous artists on Polish and foreign stages. These artists included, among others: Kamil Bednarek, Doda, Sanah, Ich Troje, Boys and many others. However, on a daily basis we work with a permanent lineup of musicians-artists from Małopolska.
Preparations
- What is your approach to planning wedding music? Can you prepare a personalized playlist for our wedding?
Of course! Each wedding will be different, because each bride and groom may have their own preferences regarding the music to be played on this important day!
- What information do you need from us to tailor the music and program to our preferences?
The key point will be the conversation during which the DJ gets to know the bride and groom and learns a little more about their musical preferences. Important information is also what kind of guests will be invited, including their average age.
- Do you offer help in organizing other elements of the wedding, e.g. games or competitions?
Yes. Matt Remay Group's offer includes not only musical service, but also the service of a host who will motivate your guests to have fun.
- What are your suggestions for the event schedule?
It depends on how many attractions are planned for that day. Usually, after dinner, we start with the newlyweds' first dance, and then we invite all the other guests to join in the fun. We organize the musical setting in the so-called sets, usually of about 5 songs. Of course, this is a conventional value - a good DJ is able to sense when wedding guests need a breather and when they want to party a little longer. Games, competitions and special shows are organized after consultation with the bride and groom.
Equipment and service
- Do you provide your own equipment or do you need access to equipment on site?
We use our own sound and lighting equipment.

- How do you ensure the sound quality during an event?
Sound quality is very important to us - it is the key value of our work. High-class sound equipment allows us to provide the best possible sound experience during the entire event.
- Do you have spare equipment in case of failure?
Absolutely. You never know when things that are technical will go 'revolt'. So we always have several microphones, many cables and enough sound equipment so that the absence of any of them would not be audible in the room.
- What experience do you have in technical service during a wedding?
Technical service is an integral part of a DJ's work. Our DJs' experience in technical matters is therefore directly proportional to their experience in the industry in general.
Style and music
- What genres of music do you prefer to play at weddings?
Most often, we play dance songs, hits from the 70s, 80s, 90s and contemporary hits, but I also include hits from current charts - it all depends on what best warms up a specific dance floor!
- Are you able to play the specific songs we request?
Of course! Before the event, we establish a list of songs that must be played and those that should be avoided. If a specific request arises during the game, we will also try to fulfill it, if technically possible.
- How do you react when guests have different musical preferences?
The playlists of DJs from Matt Remay Group include a rich repertoire, which we flexibly adapt to the taste of the participants. We observe the dance floor and select subsequent songs so that as many people as possible have a good time. If preferences vary, we try to balance the repertoire so that everyone can find something for themselves.
- Are you open to song requests from guests? Can you accept and fulfill guest requests on an ongoing basis?
Absolutely! Guests' requests are always welcome, as long as they fit the atmosphere of the event and do not disrupt the schedule agreed with the bride and groom. The music library of our DJs allows you to quickly respond to your musical wishes.
- What are your favorite songs to dance to at a wedding?
C-BooL – “Wonderland”, ABBA – “Dancing Queen”, Camila Cabello – “Havana” – these are just some examples of songs that fill the dance floor quickly.
Interaction with guests
- What ideas do you have for integrating guests during the event?
Dance games, quizzes and light animations that are engaging but not embarrassing. Everything tailored to the nature of the event.
- Do you take an active part in animating games and competitions?
Tak, prowadzę je dynamicznie i z humorem, dbając o dobrą atmosferę i komfort uczestników.
- How do you approach people who are shy or don't want to dance?
I gently encourage, I suggest alternatives, e.g. quizzes or singing, but I never force.
- How will you organize emotional moments like the first dance?
We arrange the details together. We provide appropriate music and a subtle introduction, but we can also arrange special effects, such as heavy smoke.
Before the wedding
- Will we meet before the wedding to discuss the details?
Definitely. We always suggest a live meeting or at least an online conversation to thoroughly discuss expectations and the event plan.
- What are your expectations regarding contact with the bride and groom before the wedding?
Regular contact is enough - we will determine key details, playlist and schedule. If necessary: questions or changes arising after our meeting, we will consult on an ongoing basis, e.g. by phone or e-mail.
- How do you deal with stress on your wedding day?
Many years of experience allow our DJs to remain calm even in crisis situations. Good organization and good fun - these are two elements that reduce stress to zero!
- Do you offer any additional services, e.g. photo booth, special effects?
Bright! A photo booth, heavy smoke, a large LED inscription LOVE or the initials of the bride and groom, an animation zone for children, attractions for outdoor events (e.g. lanterns, lights, etc.) - these are some of our additional services.
- What are your working hours and your policy on extra hours?
The basic working time is a one-day wedding. However, every event is different. So we discuss the details individually.
